Visa application - to Australia, UK and USA.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I signed up becoz i am coming to SH in the very near future. Would love to make some friends here!

I do have a question to start with. If you are a chinese citizen...what do you need to apply for a visa to go overseas.. say Australia for example?

Is it really difficult like i have been told by many other locals? I heard that $$$ really helps in processing your application. Is that true?

Your comments and feedback would be awesome!

You don't need $$$ to grease the palms of the person processing your application (a very big no, no), but you do need to be able to prove that you can support yourself financially and therefore won't be a burden to the host country. The 3 countries mentioned have different rules (as all sovereign countries are so entitled), so I suggest that you visit the respective consular websites to check the details. I know that with the AU website you'll be able to download and/or print the relevant forms.
